Time in Nature was a funded staff development opportunity for Hourly Paid Lecturers across UAL organised by Dr Heather Barnett, MA Art and Science at CSM together with the Climate Activists in 2023. Lecturers attended an outdoor training session and were invited to develop and test learning experiences with students over the next academic year. Thinking Through Drawing in Nature was an opportunity for students to learn with nature, observe quietly while drawing, and feel differently in a new environment. Can movement and observation outdoors, build concentration, invigorate and stimulate to then explore sketching as a bloom space for potential?
